Use the Capture panel (choose File > Capture)to capture digital or analog video and audio. UPDATE: Realtek submitted a v0.0.2 of their driver feb 20th 2008. This has been confirmed to function for this Freecom (or Conceptronic) stick with usb id: 14aa:0160 on a 2.6.22.17 kernel. This stick has a MT2061F tuner chip, but this driver also supports the MLX5005 tuner chip. No additional firmware file is needed.

UPDATE: "Anttip" linuxtv HG [182] repository has EC168 development drivers (not yet part of 2.6.31.1 Kernel v4l drivers), which work with EC168 based dvb-t sticks (18b4:1689 device id). Numerous other re-branded sticks use the same chipset.

HVR-1xxx devices are PCI-based products that receive analogue and digital terrestrial TV. They are similar to the HVR-9xx but have support for NICAM or dbx Stereo for analogue terrestrial on all models.

HVR-3xxx and 4xxx devices are tri-mode and quad-mode devices respectively. Tri-mode means support for analogue terrestrial/cable, digital terrestrial and DVB-S digital satellite. Quad-mode devices additionally support DVB-S2 HD digital satellite. The HVR-4000 marks a change in bundled applications in that instead of using Hauppauge's WinTV2000 package, it ships with Cyberlink PowerCinema.

A vivid 12.3-inch screen directly in front of the driver offers customizable analog-style and digital displays for instrumentation. The panel also integrates a large multifunction menu screen with illustrated and animated menus for vehicle information, settings and driver-assistance features.
